Contamination Assessment
The health and well-being of horses depends on healthy lungs. Poor air quality can contribute to various respiratory disorders in horses and in the people who care for them. Dust and mould in the stable can be an irritant, infectious or allergenic. If you have a concern about a product in your barn, you can have it investigated by the Equine Research Centre. Dust from hay, forage products, bedding or arena-footing samples can be examined microscopically and graded.
